On the way from the hotel to the amusement park, more than 2,000 lavender plants bloom across an area larger than five tennis courts. Situated on a gently sloping hill, the location also offers an excellent view. We will hold a hands-on event where guests can harvest lavender themselves. You are welcome to take the lavender home and enjoy it as dried flowers or potpourri.
During your free time or before meals, why not enjoy a stroll and pick some lavender? Please register at the bell desk in the North Wing, where you will receive a pair of scissors and a collection bag. You may take home as much lavender as will fit in the provided bag.
Guests accompanied by children are asked to ensure their safety while participating.
Lavender you bring home can be tied in small bundles and hung to dry for decoration. Petals that fall off can be placed into small bags and used as potpourri to enjoy their scent. Since the fragrance does not last indefinitely, we recommend storing unused flowers in empty plastic bottles or similar containers, and replacing the potpourri when the scent fades to enjoy it for a longer period.
*Please note: No guide is provided.
*The event will end once the lavender is gone.
