Our Samurai Kid’s program for 8-14-year-olds promises an exciting, fun and social lesson environment. Our dedicated instructors are committed to ensuring continuous technical skill development through a blend of fun, mountain exploration, and skill improvements. Lessons take place across all three mountains, providing students with the opportunity to explore new terrain and refine their skills while forging new friendships. A range of ability levels, we ensure that each student is placed in the most suitable group to maximize their progress.

- Is equipment rental included?
- Equipment rental is not included. Children need to arrive with their skis and winter equipment. Please complete ski rental prior to your lesson.

- Does my child need a lift ticket?
- We require all children have a lift ticket to participate in the lesson.

- Do the lessons take place indoors or outdoors?
- All ski lessons will take place outdoors. Instructors will guide kids all over the mountain depending on ability, weather and snow conditions. Breaks and lunch will be indoors in the kids break room.

- Is there a vegetarian or vegan lunch option?
- Please list any dietary restrictions when making a booking and our team will do their best to provide a suitable meal. For strict dietary requirements or severe food allergies we recommend children bring a packed lunch.

- Can I request a refund if my child feels tired or decides they do not want to ski?
- Unfortunately, cannot provide refunds for this reason.

- Can my child attend the kids group lesson if they are not yet toilet trained?
- Children are required to be fully toilet trained to join the kids group lessons. While staff will assist children visit the toilet kids’ staff cannot change nappies/diapers.

- What happens if my child experiences an issue during their lesson?
- All parent/guardians must leave an emergency contact number or (phone or WhatsApp) number. If there are any problems during the lesson time, you will be contacted immediately by our team.

- Can I watch my child while they participate in the kids group lesson?
- For parents, guardians or family members, if you wish to watch your child’s progress, we kindly ask that you watch from a distance so not to interrupt the lesson.

- Precautions

Please note the following cancellation policy will apply to all bookings:
・Up to 30 days before your lesson (prior to payment): 0%
・Up to 7 days before your lesson: 10%
・Up to 72 hours before your lesson: 30%
・Within 72 hours before your lesson: 100%
*Cancellation policies will be enacted when there is a booking adjustment that results in an overall package price reduction.
・Please check-in every day at the Kids School reception at least 10 minutes before the lesson starts. Staff will register your child, confirm the lunch order and discuss the plan for the day.
・Equipment rental and lift tickets are not included in the lesson fee. Please prepare them before your lesson begins.
・The kids school area rental store and ticket offices are located in different locations. Please note rental shops can be busy in peak season, please allow up to 1 hour for rental.
・If you are running late, please contact the ski school to let us know.
・Guests staying at The Westin arriving via the monorail are advised to allow extra time.
・If the lift services are suspended due to stormy weather, the lessons may be modified or cancelled. Even in poor weather conditions, the lessons take place as long as there are two or more lifts in operation.
・Cancellation based on customers' discretion may be subject to a cancellation charge.
・Please note that the phone line tends to be busy in the AM before lessons begin.
・Students are expected to be proficient in English as the lessons are provided in English. The lessons are not available in other languages at this time.
