Held on the resort’s newly opened eight dedicated pickleball courts, this open tournament welcomes a wide range of players from beginner to intermediate levels.
In addition to the excitement of competition, the tournament offers opportunities for communication, community building, and new connections among players.

On the day before the tournament, an Ambassador Certification Seminar and a Night Pickleball event will also be held, creating a two-day experience that combines play, learning, and unique activities.

[Purpose]
This tournament will be held using the eight pickleball courts completed last year at Rusutsu Resort, with the goal of promoting pickleball — one of the world’s fastest-growing sports — and improving competitive skills.
In addition to expanding the sport throughout Sapporo, Hokkaido, and neighboring regions, the event aims to establish Hokkaido as a future hub for pickleball through a locally driven tournament hosted at Rusutsu Resort.
The tournament also seeks to create an open and welcoming competitive environment where players from beginner to intermediate levels can participate comfortably, contributing to regional revitalization, health promotion, and the development of new sports communities.

*Mixed Doubles will begin after the completion of the morning Men’s and Women’s Doubles matches. Players may enter either “Men’s Doubles + Mixed Doubles” or “Women’s Doubles + Mixed Doubles.”
*Participants may enter only one of either Men’s Singles or Mixed Doubles.

NIGHT PICKLEBALL

Enjoy a magical atmosphere as the courts glow under blacklights. Using illuminated paddles and balls, participants can experience an exciting style of play completely different from daytime matches. Combined with music and glowing court lines, the event offers a truly unique nighttime experience.

Participants of the “PJ Ambassador Certification Seminar,” “Step Up Lesson,” and “RUSUTSU Pickleball Open 2026” held on 28/06 (Sun) may join this event free of charge.
