A whimsical and fun comic show for all ages
This performance show centers on pantomime, where a single gesture can express a world of meaning. It also incorporates elements from various genres, including juggling and balloon art. Enjoy the surprise and delight, just like opening a toy box.
Performance Unit: Toy Theater
A duo featuring the tall pantomimist “Toy Takehana” and the petite clown “Kanon.” Formed in 2004, the pantomime unit “Toy Theater” is active throughout Japan with its base in Sapporo. They trained under Sapporo-based pantomimist Hidenori Yamada, learning the fundamentals of pantomime. They are members of “My Dream Project,” a group led by Mr. Yamada.
In addition to stage and street performances, they also tailor shows for a variety of venues including commercial facilities, festivals, hotel parties, weddings, museums, and more.
