Rusutsu Resort Ski Area has been preparing to open from 29/11/2025(Sat.). However, the decision on whether operations can begin as planned will be made closer to the date. Regardless of the ski area’s status, The Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention will open from 29/11/2025(Sat.), and The Westin Rusutsu Resort will open from 01/12/2025(Mon.). Please refer to the following information for guidance regarding your stay.

If Part of Rusutsu Resort Ski Area is Operational

　
Guests staying on lift ticket-inclusive plans will receive their lift tickets at the hotel front desk.
If part of West Mt. is operational, guests can directly access the slopes as the area is connected to the hotel.
If part of Mt. Isola is open, shuttle bus service to the Mt. Isola base area will be provided.

If Rusutsu Resort Ski Area is Not Operational

　
If Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area is Open
Shuttle services will be available between Rusutsu Resort and Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area. (No shuttle service will be offered to other nearby ski resorts.)
Information on lift pass collection will be provided at the hotel front desk.

Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area Shuttle Bus Timetable

Additionally, a paid shuttle bus service (reservation required) will run from Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area to New Chitose Airport.

If Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area is also Not Operational
Lift tickets included in your accommodation plan will be exchanged for resort vouchers worth 2,000 JPY per day at the hotel front desk.

*This policy will end once Rusutsu Resort Ski Area begins operations.

Regarding Changes or Cancellations to Hotel Reservations

　
For Guests with Reservations at Rusutsu Resort Hotel ＆ Convention
For guests (including those on non-lift ticket plans) who wish to change or cancel their reservations, please contact the Rusutsu Resort Reservations Centre. For cancellations of reservations with stays up to 01/12/2025 (Mon.) will be handled without any cancellation fees. If you have already cancelled your reservation on your own, please inform us so we can assist accordingly.  For reservations made through travel agencies, please contact the agency directly.

*This policy will end once Rusutsu Resort Ski Area begins operations.

For Guests with Reservations at The Westin Rusutsu Resort
If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, cancellation fees may apply. For more details, please contact the Rusutsu Resort Reservations Center.
