Rusutsu Resort will fully renovate the slope-side restaurant “Lone Pine,” located as the gateway to East Mt. and Mt. Isola, and reopen it on 01/12/2025(Mon).

“Lone Pine” is located at the foot of East Mt., offering excellent access from all Rusutsu Resort hotels and neighboring the day-trip parking lot. It has long been a popular base facility used by many guests as a meeting point, dining venue, or rest area while enjoying the slopes.

In this renovation, all areas — including the restaurant, shop, lockers, lounge, shared spaces, and restrooms — will be completely renewed. The facility will be reborn as a comfortable and secure space where both domestic and international skiers and snowboarders can enjoy their resort life to the fullest.

The restaurant will feature a wide variety of dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from the Rusutsu area, including ramen, curry, snacks, and desserts. It will also offer the only vegan menu on the slopes, catering to a wide range of guests from families to international visitors. At the adjoining “Lone Pine Café,” guests can casually enjoy wrap sandwiches, salads, and soft-serve ice cream, along with a morning set menu available exclusively during breakfast hours.

Lobby

The lobby has been renewed into a calm space with full carpeting and an open layout, providing smooth access as the entrance to the slopes.

Paid Lounge “K-LOUNGE”

The paid lounge “K-LOUNGE” offers both comfort and relaxation right beside the slopes. Guests can remove their boots and relax in a cozy environment equipped with complimentary drinks, magazines, foot massage machines, and even a blood pressure monitor.

Shop “RUPOW BASE”

The shop has been renewed into a bright, open space with large windows. It offers a wide selection of small goods and accessories from popular snow brands, such as gloves, goggles, and beanies. It’s convenient for last-minute purchases or checking out the latest items. In addition, original Rusutsu Resort merchandise will be available, supporting guests in enjoying a more comfortable and memorable resort experience.
