Rusutsu Classical Music & Dinner
On 11/02/2024(Sun.)・12/02/2024(Mon.), for a limited two-day period, we will be hosting a special concert × buffet dinner at Rusutsu Resort Hotel.
The featured artists are Javorkai brothers, hungarian-born Sándor Jávorkai (Vn) and Adam Jávorkai (Vc). They are renowned musicians who received the prestigious winners of the prestigious “Artist of the Year by Jeunesse and Bank Austria in 2009”, are world-class musicians whose masterful technique and passion captivate audiences. Sandor and Adam Javorkai perform as soloists with well-known orchestras and as a duet on concert tours, which have taken these two young talents across Europe and to Russia, Japan and China. Sandor and Adam are widely praised for their transcendental technique and their humorous characters. Following the concert, savor the charm of the artists’ improvised performances while dining, offering a unique and elegant experience at the resort hotel.

Artist
Sándor Jávorkai (Violin)
Sándor began violin instruction at the age of 3 and made his debut at 5. Having studied at the Franz Liszt Music Academy and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Dresden Philharmonic, Tonkünstler Orchestra, and Osaka Philharmonic as soloists. In 2009, they were awarded the prestigious “Vienna Artist of the Year” alongside Adam. In November 2019, they made a guest appearance at the Budapest Operetta Gala held at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, performing Roma music with the Jules Philharmonic Orchestra and receiving acclaim.
Adam Jávorkai (Violincello)
Graduates of the Bartók Music Academy and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, he studied under Angélica May and Reinhard Latzko. Winning numerous competitions in Hungary and receiving many awards in Europe, he was selected as “Vienna Artists of the Year” in 2009 alongside his brother Shandor. In addition to collaborating with orchestras such as the Budapest Philharmonic and Jules Philharmonic as soloists, they have been active worldwide, including chamber music performances and conducting masterclasses.
Reco / Reiko Akutagawa (Piano)
After graduating from Toho Girls’ High School of Music, she graduated from the Faculty of Music at the same university.
She won the 2nd Prize in the 2010 International Competition “Valsesia Musica” Young Category(Italy), and the 1st Prize in the 2011 International Piano Talent Competition(Italy). She has also won numerous prizes in domestic competitions.
Since 2022, she has been a member of the entertainment group 565656 led by comedian Korokke, and has been performing all over Japan. She performs as「Reco, the Gachi-Ota pianist.」
