Starting from 23/12/2023(Sat.), we will launch the day trip shuttle bus “Rusutsu Powder Day Trip” departing from Niseko Hirafu Welcome Center and heading to the foot of East Mt. at Rusutsu Resort ski Area. This direct bus service is designed for guests staying in Niseko, providing a comfortable and convenient way to access Rusutsu.

It takes approximately 45 minutes one way from the Hirafu area in central Niseko to Rusutsu Resort. Every year, many guests staying in Niseko choose to make a day trip to Rusutsu. The presence of Mount Yotei between Niseko and Rusutsu leads to significant variations in weather and snow conditions. Skiers and snowboarders seeking high-quality powder snow often decide on their destination based on the weather and slope conditions of the day.
The “Rusutsu Powder Day Trip” offers a convenient 1-day package with a 1-day lift ticket and round-trip bus transportation, limited to 40 passengers per day. With advance reservations available until 16:30 the day before, you can make a reservation while predicting the slope conditions for the next day. You can pick up your lift ticket when taking the bus at the Hirafu Welcome Center, allowing you to skip the ticket counter and go straight to the East Mt. gondola and lifts for a smooth gate-in experience.

For holders of the “Epic Pass” (allowing five consecutive days of free skiing at Rusutsu Resort ), “K-Winter Pass”, and “25-Hour tickets” , you can avail the bus service for a round-trip fare of only 9,000 JPY. This winter, guests staying in Niseko can use the most of the convenient and cost-effective “Rusutsu Powder Day Trip” to fully enjoy the Rusutsu Resort ski area.
