Introducing new concept of the ‘Ultimate Wellness Stay’ to revitalize mind and body. Starting from December 16, 2023, Rusutsu Resort will begin offering ‘Wellness Rooms’ designed to promote a wellness-oriented stay.

We are pleased to announce a new renovation project on the 9th floor of Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention, with an investment of approximately 900 million yen, have transformed 30 guest rooms into 14 newly refurbished luxury suites. The 9^th floor, including the elevator hall and corridors have recently been refurbished, inspired by the concept of ‘fulfilled,’ representing the value of an extraordinary experience. We have created two unique categories of suites: the ‘Wellness Room Premium Suite,’ featuring private saunas, cold baths, hot baths, oxygen capsules, hydrogen machines, and the latest massage chairs, in two units; and the ‘Wellness Room Suite,’ which includes barrel saunas, in 12 units. In every room, we have designed a space that incorporates visual and sensory elements for relaxation, from comfortable beds to high-quality interior design, along with customizable lighting, sound, and fragrances to suit your preferences.

Wellness Room・Premium Suite

A signature suite dedicated to creating wellness-focused stay. Suites feature amenities including: a sauna, cold bath, oxygen capsule, and massage chair. Rejuvenate body and mind during relaxing comfortable stay.

[Dry Sauna]
The signature wood design seamlessly blends and compliments Rusutsu’s abundant nature. It is designed for flexibility and customization, with low, middle, and upper seating positions. The walls feature far-infrared black silica, a natural mineral from Kaminokuni-cho, Hokkaido. Self- löyly. is also available.

[Hot Bath]
The hot bath can be used like an open-air bath when the windows are open. Projection mapping creates a fantastic space for a blissful bath time.

[Water Bath]
A water bath in the style of a cave. Add ice from the suite’s ice machine to create a reinvigorating ice bath experience.

[Oxygen Capsule]
Made by OXYRIUM. Oxygen capsules with a built-in cooler.

[Hydrogen Machine]
SUISO JAPAN Suilive SS-300. First developed and manufactured in Japan. This is a hydrogen inhaler with a generation volume suitable for the human body, based on medically recommended hydrogen generation volume.

[Esthetic Machine]
Celldrive Pro. An esthetic machine that provides a salon-quality treatment experience.

[Massage Chairs]
Premium Panasonic massage chairs have been installed.

[Shower head]
Made by ReFa. Two types of bubbles – ultra fine bubble and micro bubble – bring out the natural beauty of the skin.

A space with a barrel sauna, outdoor sofa, swing bench and other outdoor-inspired furnishings and greenery, where you can enjoy a special moment that values the harmony of body and mind.

[Barrel Sauna]
Experience a barrel sauna, commonly found in outdoor saunas, but installed within the guest suite. It’s created from premium Japanese cypress wood and large panoramic windows create sauna with a sense of space and tranquility. A stove from HARVIA has been installed and guests can also enjoy löyly.

[Water Bath]
A round bathtub, similar to a Goemon Bath, is installed for the water bath. The depth allows you to cool down to your head.

[Daybed sofa and swing chair]
A large circular sofa on which you can lie down and a chair resembling a swing create a space reminiscent of the outdoors.

[Shower head]

The entire ninth floor, including the lift hall and corridors, is transformed into a special, calm, black-toned floor.
