What’s a 25 hour lift ticket?

The 25-hour ticket is divided into 25 X 1 hour tickets. The ticket is valid for the duration of the current season. The first time a user passes through an IC gate 1 hour will be deducted from the ticket (with 24 hours remaining). Users can than pass through multiple gates for the next 60 minutes. If after 1 hour the user passes through another gate an additional hour will be deducted. Advanced 25 hour + 5 tickets provide a total of 30 hours.

*5 hour tickets are valid for a continuous period of time from the first time a user passes through the IC ticket gate. (Ticket cannot be used on multiple days).

How to purchase lift tickets online

Pick-up box system

  1. STEP1
    Click on the “BUY” button to purchase your ticket. When making a purchase, a QR code will be immediately sent via email. The QR code can be exchanged for a lift ticket.
  2. STEP2
    Please prepare the QR code for exchange on your smartphone screen or print it out and scan it at the pick-up box.
  3. STEP3
    Please collect your ticket.
  4. STEP4
    Go to the IC gate, scan your ticket and access the lifts.

Charging Method

  1. STEP1
    Click “BUY” or scan the QR code on the back of your IC card to access the purchase page.
  2. STEP2
    Select your ticket and enter the WTP code on the back of your IC card. Then, load your ticket with a credit card.
    (The WTP code will appear automatically once you scan the QR code)
  3. STEP3
    You will receive a thank-you email that confirms that loading is complete.
  4. STEP4
    Go to the IC gate, scan your ticket and access the lifts.

Available at Centre Tickets (North Wing GF).

・Opening hours : 9:00 – 16:15 (pre-season) / 8:15 – 16:15 (during winter season)

*During pre-season before the ski area opens for winter, ticket office may only be open certain days due to maintenance. Please enquire in advance before visiting the ticket office.
*Not available at West Mt or East Mt Ticket office.

  • Remarks

    ・Ticket only valid for Rusutsu Resort Ski Area.
    ・Please do not share 1 lift ticket with more than one person.
    ・The Company accepts no liability for theft, loss, disappearance or damage to the ticket.
    ・Advance tickets cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded after purchase or period of validity.
    ・No IC card deposit required.
    ・When purchasing tickets for “Senior/Junior High and High School Students”, you will be required to present an ID (e.g. passport, driving licence, health insurance card, student ID card, etc.) that verifies your age. When purchasing online, you will be asked to upload a photo of an ID document that confirms your age. If the documents are incomplete, the purchase may be cancelled.

    *Rusutsu Resort will cancel any tickets obtained by illegal means, or purchased from an un-authorised third party. Please note tickets cannot be re-sold or exchanged under any circumstances as this violates the agreement of the cableway service agreement. Tickets purchased online via re-sale sites; auction sites may be subject to cancellation. Please note customers who purchase these tickets will not be eligible for a refund or any other compensation. Please only purchase tickets from authorized websites.

  • Purchasing Top-up 5-hour tickets

    ・Top up 5 hour tickets can only be used in conjunction with an existing 25 hour ticket or advanced 25 hour +5 ticket (30 hour ticket). If cannot be purchased as a new IC ticket.
    ・To purchase a Top up 5 hour ticket online, customers must first register as a user before recharging your 25 hour ticket by purchasing a Top up 5 hour ticket. One users have successfully logged-in the Top up 5 hour ticket option will be available.
    ・Please note, only IC cards which have been used to purchase a 25 hour ticket or an advanced 25 hour ticket +5 (30 hour ticket) can be used for a Top up 5 hour ticket at the lift ticket counter. It is not possible to charge another IC card with the Top up 5 hour ticket.
    ・It is not possible to put more than three pieces of data on a single IC card.
