The tea lounge on the 2nd floor of Resort Hotel North Wing has been renovated into a café serving authentic espresso. You can enter directly with your ski boots, so we recommend this café for meeting up or just a little sweet treat time.

A bright space with a snowy landscape

Névé in “Névé Café” means “snow” in French and Italian. When it snows, the large window in front of the counter seats opens up to a bright white snowy landscape.

 

The floor, which appears to be wood-grain, is actually soft and non-slip, even for ski boots, so you can use the cafe with your boots on. But please do not bring ski boards or snowboards into the cafe, put your gear on the ski stand near the entrance.

Rusutsu Resort Original Blend

When it comes to cafes, the taste of the coffee is what you are interested in. Rusutsu Resort Original Blend is used for blended coffee beans. Rusutsu Resort Original Blend is a dark roast with a slightly sweet aftertaste with a cocoa-like bitterness and aroma. Enjoy a relaxing break time while gazing at the scenery through the wide windows.

 

Taking advantage of the renewal to the café, we installed an espresso machine from LA MARZOCCO of Italy. This brand is used in cafes around the world, including Japan, for its high functionality and design.

 

For espresso, we used “Authentic Roast” from the UCC “Largo” series, which is compression-aged to best suit Japan’s soft water. Characterized by a refreshing berry-like acidity, this bean is so compatible with milk that it is said to express the flavor of shortcake when combined with milk. Enjoy a relaxing moment with a latte or cappuccino, which offers both texture and aroma. The espresso menu also includes lattes, mochas, and whiskey-infused Irish coffees.

 

In addition to Cafe Latte, we also offer soy milk latte using Bonsoy, organic soy milk from Australia, and almond milk latte. You can choose products according to your preference.

Mighty Leaf Tea from the U.S.A.

Mighty Leaf is a brand of tea with a strong emphasis on nature and health, born in San Francisco, USA. Certified vegan, organic, and kosher, Mighty Leaf teas are made from high-quality tea leaves and herbs and have a gorgeous aroma. It is served in a mini sized pot.

Hotel-made cakes and cookies

Cakes, muffins and other baked goods made by the hotel’s pastry chef line the showcase. Of course, we also offer classic cookies that are a perfect accompaniment to coffee.

Artificial grass kids’ space

At the back of the café, there is an artificial grass children’s space that can be seen from the aisle. The counter seating around the space is equipped with power outlets, allowing you to relax while watching your children.

 

The counter by the window is also equipped with power outlets. In addition to regular outlets, USB, type C, and universal plugs can be used. In addition to the counter seats, some tables are also available. It is a nice point to be able to charge your batteries while taking a break from skiing or snowboarding.
