Easy Trail

Easy Trail is Rusutsu’s gentlest trail. Accessed using by East No.1 Pair Lift, this beginner-friendly trail is thoughtfully designed to keep new skiers and boarders safely away from other trails. This trail is also perfect for children that have just learned to ski on their own. What’s more, this kid-friendly trail is nice and wide for first-time skiers and snowboarders.

Fuboru

Fuboru is a meandering trail branching off the hillside of East Tignes. This trail’s vast and rolling terrain takes beginners on a pleasant cruise through the forest while offering excellent conditions for intermediate and advanced skiers aiming to tackle Mt. Isola. Take East Quad Lift to squeeze in as many runs as you can.

Furikozawa

A long trail bridging East Mt. and Mt. Isola, Furikozawa is the hub route taken by everyone heading to Mt. Isola. This main artery features beginner-friendly rolling terrain while the geographical features along the stream provide opportunities for advanced skiers and snowboarders to nimbly zip around the walls situated on both sides.

Snow Rafting

Hop into an inflatable boat towed behind a snowmobile driven by a professional guide. Gliding across the vast snowfield is a thrilling experience. You can request the speed you want, so guests with children can sit back and relax.

Dog Sledding

Have an entire sled to yourself as dogs pull it around the 400-m trail. Running faster than you’d expect, the furry friends will take you on an exhilarating journey, awing you with the sight of them charging along in front of you. Cap off the sensational ride by taking a picture with them in honor of their hard work.

Ice Fishing

Drill a hole into the frozen pond and cast a lure/fly to snag a big rainbow trout. Though this land of ice is surrounded by mountains, we provide tents to shelter from the icy wind and snowfalls, making a perfect environment to focus on fishing in a mellow mood. Catch-and-release only.

Outdoor Cord Craft

Combine an outdoor recreation cord in your favorite color and other parts you like to make your own jewelry and accessories such as bracelets and key chains. The completed arts and crafts will be strong enough for outdoor recreation and travel, and the creative process of making them will engross children and adults alike.

Candle Craft

Melt wax and create your own candle by placing small chunks of wax varying in color and shape (hearts, stars, etc.) into a candle mold. Take home your own colorful and eye-catching candle and incorporate it in your interior design scheme.

Table Tennis

Play table tennis at Rusutsu Arena. Bats, balls and tables are available for rent on a 30-minute basis.

Rusutsu Resort Nursery School

When you’re out skiing, golfing, doing activities, or have other things to do, you can leave your child at the nursery school on a per-hour basis. Our childcare specialists will take good care of your child in the bright space adorned with large windows.

Indoor Wave Pool

Safely out of the weather and open until 22:00 daily, the indoor heated pool is yours to enjoy all year round. The wave pool is shallow near the front and gets deeper as you head toward the back. And the hugely popular aqua coaster is sure to create some exciting memories! The facility is free for overnight guests to use.

Rusutsu Onsen – Kotobuki

Beautifying hot spring with a panoramic view of the mountains and myriad stars. Feel the bounty of nature with your body and mind. The bathing area has chairs for kids and spacious washing areas that parents and children can use together.

Two-story merry-go-round (carousel)

One of the world’s biggest indoor carousels, this two-story merry-go-round is a landmark of Rusutsu Resort.

Game world

Bustling with claw machines, nostalgic Whack-A-Mole and many other game machines, this indoor facility is a great place for a rainy day or just to spend some spare time.

Baby food

Our restaurants do not provide baby food. You can bring baby food and hotel staff can warm it up with a microwave or hot water. Also, you can buy baby food at some of the shops inside the hotels.

Kid’s menu

In addition to the buffet, the restaurant offers a children’s course and children’s kaiseki menu for dinner. Children’s dinner vouchers are available for this service. The Westin Rusutsu Resort offers an Eat Well kids’ menu for lunch at the atrium on the 1st floor.

Children’s chairs, spoons and forks

Children’s chairs, spoons and forks are available at all restaurants. Children’s plates are also available at the buffet restaurant. Please feel free to ask our staff for requests.

The restaurant is food allergy friendly.

At the buffet restaurant “Oktoberfest” on the 1st floor of the North Wing of Rusutsu Resort Hotel, allergens are displayed on labels. At Atrium on the 1st floor of The Westin Rusutsu Resort, if you inform us of any food allergy requirements, our cooking staff will prepare a suitable meal. Furthermore, at other restaurants, if you inform us of any food allergy requirements by 1 week before the date of your stay, our specialist dietician will ensure a suitable meal is prepared.

At The Westin Rusutsu Resort, if a 0-12 year old child sleeps with parents in the same bed, your child can stay for free of charge. Children 13 years old and older are subject to the accommodation fee.
