What is a Snow Skate?
A snowskate is a type of board sport that resembles skateboarding on snow. It consists of a skateboard deck with a single ski mounted underneath and is ridden without bindings, unlike a snowboard. There are several types of snowskates, but they all share the common feature of allowing free foot movement, providing a high degree of riding flexibility. Snowskating can be enjoyed even in early-season conditions with little snow, such as in December, as well as during the spring season. In recent years, the number of ski resorts across the country permitting snowskating has been increasing.
