On December 18th, 2020 Rusutsu Resort opened its newest hotel ‘The Vale Rusutsu’. This condominium style hotel boasts ski-in/ski-out convenience and is directly connected to the main Rusutsu hotel complex offering direct access to the new Onsen and resort facilities, amenities and attractions. Driving on snowy roads can be a cause for concern, especially on powder days with bad visibility and heavy snow. For guests without a car or concerned with winter driving we recommend trying our free daily bus service.

On December 31st, Rusutsu Resort will host a fireworks display where 1,200 fireworks will light up the sky accompanied to music. This event is free of charge and non-hotel guests are welcome to participate.
