Ski Resort Restaurant Information

Dinner: Find a restaurant in advance that best suits your taste

After a long day of skiing, you need to find a delicious restaurant.

If you are staying at the Westin, you can choose from Atrium, Kazahana, and Teppanyaki Kazahana. Atrium and Kazahana are available by reservation, but Teppanyaki Kazahana has to be reserved and has only 10 seats.

If you want to dine at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel side restaurant, there are many options available. If you purchased the dinner package, you can only go to the buffet restaurant for dinner, which is mainly Oktoberfest. If you booked a package without dinner, you will need to plan ahead for dinner and make reservations at one of the restaurants.

The restaurants in the Rusutsu Resort Hotel side are categorized into the non-reservable type where you can only line up on site, the reservable type, and the mandatory type.Among the restaurants at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel side, Izakaya Kakashi (non-reservable) and Japanese restaurant Sekkatei (reservable) are popular with foreign tourists.

Nightlife: Let all ski fatigue melt away in a glass of alcohol

Drinking is one of the best ways to heal at night.

There are two recommended bars in the Rusutsu Resort, Cricket, located at the end of Daniel Street near the South Wing, and Obrist, the main bar on the 2nd floor of the South Wing, which is not far from each other.

Cricket offers craft beer and grilled dishes to sip on while watching sports on the big screen. It offers a relaxed and casual atmosphere to drink and enjoy grilled chicken, steak, seafood, and vegetables grilled on-site.

The main bar, Obrist, features cocktails from a veteran bartender who has been in the business for 30 years. This is a real bar with a relaxed atmosphere for sipping with friends and family.

Onsen: It is a must before going to bed

After a day of skiing and a night of fun, I’m sure you’ll want to go to sleep. Before you go to sleep, take a hot spring bath.

The “Rusutsu Onsen – Kotobuki” hot spring located at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel has new facilities, spaciousness, and an open-air bath. Whether you are staying at the Westin or resort hotel, you can take advantage of it.

The “Westin Rusutsu Hot Spring”, located in the Westin 2F, also has an open-air bath to warm your body while looking out over the scenery. In the jacuzzi bath in the bathing area, you can look forward to a variety of daily aromas such as camomile and rosehip.
